Commitment to Quality Enrolled Students  
The Eastern Suburbs Community College guarantees the quality of its courses.
If a course is considered to not meet the standard advertised, an application for a transfer to another course or for a full refund of fees will be considered.
Should the College be required to cancel a course or vary the time of the course a full refund or transfer to another course will be granted upon request.
A student may withdraw from a course by putting a request in writing six working days prior to course commencement. A transfer request will be accommodated, where possible. Requests for transfers after this time will be declined, except in the case of serious, verifiable illness.
Enrolment in an Eastern Suburbs Community College course may be declined if:
a prospective student does not meet the published requirements of the course.
the course student limit has been reached.
a prospective student is younger than 15 years.
A Student of the Eastern Suburbs Community College may be excluded from their course if:
they fail to pay they course fees/levies
they are disruptive, abusive or violent in class
they fail to take reasonable direction from the course tutor
Should a student feel they were unfairly excluded from the course of their choice, an appeal may be lodged with the College. The appeal must be made in writing. The appeal will be dealt with within 6 working days of receipt of claim and the decision of the College will be final.
